A Quest for the Mightiest: Superhero Webquest

Hello y'all!

Today we're going to create a Webquest.

I worked on this task with my friend Ayşenur, whom you are familiar with now. 

For this task, our aim was to take a traditional task from the prep school textbook our teacher provided for us, and turn it into a technology enhanced project. It gave us an opportunity to see what we can do in case we are to follow a pre-made textbook.

We chose a superhero-themed project. The original one instructed the students to create a poster introducing their superhero. It was nice but we decided to take it a step further and make our students to write a story for the superhero. We taught them how to write a story step by step and how to turn it into a e-book by using StoryJumper. We'd learnt how to use it in our freshman year and thought it'd be nice to teach our students as well.

We first created a website on Canva (yep, it's possible) and then we wrote an introduction to stimulate our students thinking. Then we explained the task and the process to do it.

We created a video and a graph to teach about the elements of a plot. And Ayşenur used screencasting to make a video to show how to use StoryJumper.
